Hi Blue Hills, If I refer someone then apparently I then get a £10 discount of my next order. I don't quite know how it works to be honest, I just thought a tenner saving would be worth having to someone.

Quite possibly - I got a Halfords gift card for Christmas and haven't been able to find anything to tempt me yet. It seems like an awful lot of stuff is the same price it was before Christmas...
I'm finding this to be true, but not just Halfords, other retailers too. Looking for PC components I find the same thing as well. It may just be they had the true sale around black friday and the currency issues are probably now starting to bite.
I did manage to get, I hope, is a good deal from Halfords. Ordered the Lezyne 600xl for £40.49, click and collect and planned to use BC discount. Got a call a few hours later to say a stock issue and would I accept the 800xl for the same price instead - "hell yes" I said. Went to collect next day with BC card in hand, had a quibble with the staff member, obviously wasn't informed of the situation. He came back with the 800xl and happily processed it for the price of the 600xl. Adding the BC discount as well it came to £36.45. He commented what a good deal it was, I think so too. Bit lucky, but you take it when you can get it - the 600xl I intially reserved had been damaged. Hopefully the 800xl will serve me well on my commutes.
Also nabbed the Bontrager Flare R for £31.49 at Evans using a voucher I received, so not too bad.
So, front lights sorted - 800xl(steady) paired with 300xl(blinky)
Rear light, just need a cheap second light to pair with the Bontrager flare r. Back to bargain hunting again.

For a cheap but surprisingly good rear light, you'd have to go a long way to beat the LED ones from Poundland.
I've got a couple and you really can't go wrong for the money.

Can't argue with a light for a pound but couldn't help smiling at their further mad mad special offer - give them £24 and they will give you a whole case of, er, 24.
You don't need them to have a good sale, they pricematch most other retailers, so find someone else having a good sale.
