I wouldn't get too chuffed with Planet X constant "sale"

After the genuine 25% off in January the % off has increased but so has the price by almost as much!

Ribble have a constant 10% off on one line or groupset. But it will come around to be off the whole order soon enough. Like it should be.

Someone on this site or any light expert on the web needs to do a thorough review of the identical lights that Planet X sell.

I bought their Jobsworth Asterion 400 USB front lights for around a tenner. The brackets are identical as is the charging to MOON Meteor lights that you will be lucky to pick up for under £20. And those are the 200 lumen ones

I paid a tenner.

Wouldn't it help everyone if we could get 400 Lumen USB rechargeable front lights for under £20 delivered that were well reviewed?

Planet X could knock them out at £20 delivered - and if any good no urban rider would need to spend any more for a decent front light...

Please pick up on this - Planet X maybe!!!

Are the Asterion USB aby good or not? We need reviews!!!

Yes, i have noted some funny stuff with pricing but that is still cheap for tubes. I only now and again buy from planet x as their very restricted range of stuff makes hitting the free postage line tricky.

Ribble Prime for £250

Not a lot of specs given (would like to know a bit more about the wheelset). But looks great for trainer/training/commutes.

Just looking at that. Seems an absolute bargain.

It looks like the bargain of the month doesn't it? I've just sent a link to a mate who's unable to decide if he wants a road bike or not. At that price, for a starter bike from a very respected brand, the question should be why doesn't he want one?

I have one bike and a beater of a backup. I am giving this serious consideration for jamming on a trainer, where weight and groupset are not really a concern. That said, I think it is fairly respectable to have a moderately pretty compact double floating at around 10kg particularly as a first bike.
