A quick google throws up https://www.paisleyfreight.com/?source=google&segment=bikes&gclid=CI7h0_CEhMICFSYIwwodHm4Apg £22.50, gotta be worth it if you would rather have the Ribble, cause you'll always wonder 'what if'

Yup, good company to deal with. And a good few other CC'ers have used them too.

It's actually only £20 for Rutland cycling to collect it. However taking n+1 to it's extreme I am now thinking of getting it as well and keep the Giant at my other halfs house.

I'd get Rutland to collect. Why would you need both bikes? The Defy won't take a fixed rack so easily nor solid proper mudguards (only Giant's own or the aptly named (IMO) cruds). Assume the Defy is rather more expensive too or less well specced. Or you may be looking for a summer roadbike (dunno what you ride at present). Personally, I don't see much point in having two bikes in the same material that essentially do the same thing

I dont know why a lot of people had problems with the Tenn sizing. I am 6ft2, 88cm inseam, 36 inch waist. I ordered bib longs and bib shorts in large size. They fit me fine. However I did order mine through Sports Pursuit, rather than from Tenn directly.

That's the first time on this forum I've heard someone question N+1
I am not saying no to N+1 (I have 4 bikes) but no to two bikes that essentially offer the same thing (alu/carbon fork, presumably compact double chainset etc)....my 4 bikes are all quite different (carbon, steel, alu/carbon single speed, disc braked flat bar)

well, he has actually got the best reason: two locations. I assume he has to drive to his other half's place.

Obviously the rule for @Kbrook should be 2n+1

n+2 which is different unless n=1

You need to factor in a OH+1 rule here but that is another thread entirely, otherwise I will end up having to ban myself from the thread as well

£63.35 from ribble cycles until 25th November. Just remember to add XMAS12 to you basket at checkout. I have used them and been very happy with their service. Pretty sure P&P was free as well.

Thanks for the heads-up SatNav. I'm after a set of Shimano 501's for my winter hack but will have to wait until after Crimbo before I can get them them as I am hoping Santa gives me cash for the bike upgrade fund rather than the usual pointless tat I get. Sods law states that these deals probably wont be available then, but I'll add Ribble to the list of sellers I'm watching.

Thanks for the PlanetX code, although the checkout accepts it it does say it's for staff so can't see it bring honoured. Where did you get it?
