Just back from Aldi, £160 worse off!

Exceptional quality in this offer - Merino and compression base layers, "performance jersey", "pro cycling jersey", winter gloves, also a luminous yellow jersey.

I normally nip in and spend a tenner or so, but this time came out with armfuls - 50% of which was for me, the other half for my son.

Only thing I wasn't so impressed with were the bibbed longs. Not overly happy with the material used on the outside of the legs, which I guess is windproof, but just felt a bit "plasticky"

Anyway, just thought I'd share some comments, extremely impressed this year. Definitely worth a look

Yes I got a pair of bib tights, winter shirt and winter jacket and waterproof gloves
Waterproof socks already sold out in my size

Cripes - £160 must be a record in Aldi.

I spent about £75 and well pleased.

I can recommend the "luminous yellow jersey"- the design might look slightly naff bit it is very practical - with layering it can be worn in a wide variety of seasons. It "breathes" pretty well, is tough, good length front zip and the zip is good quality. I got two last time and two more this time.

I agree about the quality - also a bigger range than other cycling events I think

Nice one, a website called bike-discount.de appear to be doing the krysium equipe s with tyres and tubes for £276. Thoughts? Better with the Zondas? Oh does anyone know is that site dodgy lol?
I recently bought a set from them, lovely wheels, delivered quickly and a bargain compared to anywhere else.

I've just seen that if you spend over £45 of PBK you get a free tastecard. I have one of these through my bank, and was pretty astonished how useful it is. 2 4 1 at a lot of restaurants, my girlfriend was extremely impressed at how generous I had become on my student loan! There were about 5 places in our area, one of which was somewhere I had used regularly for a few years. I am not sure of other ways to attain this card, but £45 if consumable bike parts is pretty easy to spend...
