Arrived today and came with the plastic platforms that mean you can use them as non-clipless if required (as well as the cleats). At £13.49 worth buying and putting in the garage for use at some future point!

Mine have the plastic platforms too which I so don't want (swapping from A600 as I want double-sided)...how does the plastic platform come off (I have had these before and never managed to remove)!

Use a screwdriver to lever open the springy bit of the pedal. It may require some force but they should then just pop out.

Mine came off accidentally when I hit a rock, it was only then that I realised that they were double sided

Mine turned up today, thanks also for the spot - heavy beast, 1.42kg excluding extension cable - should I really be having doubts on the strength of the mounting bracket to hold it.
