Got a winch-pulley ceiling hoist storage thingy from the Brixton Lidl for £4.99, reduced from £5.99 I think. One of these http://www.londoncyclist.co.uk/wp-c...8fbd25d00c_A715/bicyclestoragelift4_thumb.jpg

Pair of winter tyres for £16 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291142511948 probably around a fiver saving. (these are the foldable, not the wired version)

edit: found the slicks version for £14 a pair http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291183195607

Personally, I wouldn't put those tyres on in summer, let alone winter as they're pretty poor. The seller does do tyre bargains though, I bought a pair of Schwalbe Duranos from them last week.

That's slightly unfair, clearly they are not as good as tyres that cost £60 a pair, but they are as good as more well known brands £10-£15 each tyres. You won't get 10,000 miles out of them but I'm fairly confident that there are people on here with vintage commuters they bought for £30 who might be interested or just fancy adding some ok foldable tyres to the "could be useful" corner.

Sorry, I but I disagree. From the same place you could buy the sturdier Schwalbe Lugano's for a little more but I still wouldn't call them a winter tyre. As the old saying goes 'you get what you par for', there's a reason why they're less than a tenner each.

Very impressed with the brightness, easily visible in the daytime from about 200metres and very good angles as well. 2 year warranty
