Just think of it as a compact for people who value a decent chain line over what bike snobs think of them.Triple chain set though
I think the consensus was that at that price, quality control is mixed. I still have mine from several years ago, and the only crap thing in it is the spoke key, imo.You get what you pay for would be the diplomatic answer. The spoke tool was fairly hopeless. I got a few uses out of the crank puller but it now needs replacing. The chain whip has bent... It's okay to get you started but compared with Park Tools or similar it is like night and day.

Aldi cycling stuff round again on Sept 25 apparently.
Anyone got any views on the toolkit?
I could maybe do with a spare set of basic tools for another location.
Mine turned up but I don't like the fitting - a bit tight (I am for them, not the other way round of course!) and the front material seems a lot higher than other pairs of bibs I have. Pad seems OK without any miles on it. The material feels great but either I'd have to lose quite a bit of the jelly or move them on!Shutt VR shorts came today - Smallish fitting and the pad is very thin but other than that great for 15 squids
