I was marginally gutted by that as I got my pro carbon ultegra a couple of months ago, but thought c'est la vie...I looked up the current price and it is £1150 rather than the £1000 that I paid! cheeky sods

I bought a chainset in Merlin's 20% off sale last week. The sale ended today and they've just dropped the normal price to same as i paid. Hmmmm. Not impressed by using the word "sale" to imply i should buy something quickly when the price wont change at the end of sale.

At least it's not cheaper than i paid.

I have noticed it being all to common now tollers. This 'sale' word is over-used and have been the victim like your described instance.

I have found that double sided sticky tape is NOT good enough to hold it on my gloves, but I've been advised that copydex is good. I could sew them, but the glove material is quite tough, so it will be a harder job....

At the moment, it has to be the Decathlon Triban 7....... city bike, down from £300 to £150.......

Had a shufty at one tonight.....fantastic spec..... Deore rear Mech, alloy frame (if a bit odd looking) and a good chainset.....bargain. There is a 'hub geared' one also, but my local had the 'normal' geared one...

Very tempted to buy one just because it was a steal..........didn't though as I don't need it..... great bikes................

Which, amongst other bargains, means the Hope Vision 1 is slightly less than 65 quid.

Might do, but I wouldn't bet on it. Especially if they have all those Hope 1's to send to CCers

It usually takes them a couple of days to get stuff to me from date of order. Just get them to send it to Sheffield to be on the safe side...
