Got two Karrimor tops for £17 out of Sports Direct today. Basically for use in the gym but they will also do for cooler summer riding. Also noticed they some 1/2 decent Muddy Fox Fish Tail tops in at reasonable prices. They may not be the best quality but at these prices they are worth the punt.

I bought the men's version for £20 last time Rutland had a sale. They're ok and I do wear them to work, but they're a £20 pair of trousers. What they are not is a £100 pair of trousers. And be warned, they size up very large, but then shrink a lot in the first wash.

Anyone needing a winter commuter jacket, Aldi has some 'workmans softshell' jackets at about £17.
Obviously there is no cycling cut for a longer rear and being the warmest I have ever seen are for gentler commutes, even in winter.

If these were sold September maybe they would have got the label 'winter softshell jacket'.
