Conti tubes are the most annoying thing that have been cursed upon this planet. Ensure that if using them your minipump pushes onto the valve rather than screws on (there are some screw on pumps with a pressure release such a lezyne which tend to be ok). This is because the ends of conti valves unscrew with the pump themselves (the purpose of this I believe is so that valve extenders can be added for deep section wheels). This can be disastrous on rides, leaving you unable to pump up your spare conti tube, leaving you buggered.
Yep, they are a pain in the inner-tube.
I ended up using superglue/threadlock to keep them in place.

I visited Decathlon at Giltbrook today. No sign of the merino base-layers mentioned a page or two ago, but I picked up a pair of 3/4 padded bibs for £13.99:

I have some of these already (paid £30 for them:sad:) and they're pretty good. Certainly worth £14.

They also had some Française des Jeux team shorts and jerseys at half price - £25 for the bib shorts. There was a sign up saying 'as worn by team FDJ in the TDF'. I can't see them on their website so may have just been a local thing?

From what I can see the XL in Fluor Green is £6.95, it's the XXXL that's £1.99. It's another of Amazon's 'From-To' prices that lure you in but find it's only extreme sizes that are the cheap ones. This is the one for any XXXL'ers out there or people happy with £6.95+ for other sizes/ colours.

Still available at £1.99 from Amazon in XL only as just bought another at £1.99. Maybe they changed the price when you looked and have now changed it back to £1.99.

As I said in the OP you have to choose from the right of the screen under more buying choices...
Also said it is an add on item

Anyway -

Smart Lunar R1 light - £10.09 from Amazon or £10 for a 3rd party fulfilled by Amazon. For those not familiar with Amazon you look to the right of the screen and there are more buying options...

Good price for this light ATM - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Smart-Lunar...1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1389563888&sr=8-2&keywords=r1

Never going to change the world this one but it's on for £164.99- down from their usual sale price of £175.99. It includes all the HR and cadence kit you need on the 500.

Yeah...not the best deal overall

BTW I found this new Bryton for £70:

How does it compare to the edge series?
Anyone has experience with these and other ANT+ sensors?

Its on par with the Garmin 500 series but you don't get breadcrumb trails which imo is a big negative. They only do turn by turn which comes in at the 50 level.
