If you have a Poundland near you, get there soon and see if they have the 4 LED reflective ankle bands mine does at the moment. Great back up rear lighting, with the added advantage of keeping your trousers neat. Just a quid.

I got one a while back and have been checking ever since for a new batch. So I bought 3 so that I can bung one in each bag or coat pocket.

I've been planning to buy a Park TS-2 truing stand for a while and finally gave up searching for a bargain in the UK. I bought one from Jenson USA.

Actually, I bought the TS-2.2 (the venerable TS-2 is no more), along with the tilting base, a dishing tool and spoke tension meter (all Park) and had them delivered all for about the price of just a TS-2 over here.

I got stung about a week after delivery for another £7-something for duty (which was expected) and a £10 release fee by Fed-Ex (which wasn't).

I'd certainly deal with Jenson again, should the need arise.

The only glitch was a day's delay because my credit card company blocked the transaction initially on the grounds of fraud protection. Fair enough, as I don't use the card much and haven't been abroad for years. Sorted with a phone call.
