Just bought a bottle of Pedros Syn Lube for £4.08 from Probikekit:

http://www.probikekit.co.uk/bicycle-tools-and-maintenance-nc/pedros-syn-lube/10772405.html

They've got loads of stuff reduced in a 'Warehouse Clearance' - hmmm, what else do I need??

Hmm - proper bargain that 2 Oz or 57 ML of lube for £4.08!

It's people like you who keep em in business. Enjoy that "bargain"! - LOL

Or enjoy 100ML for £3.99 here http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/weldtite-tf2-performance-lube-with-teflon/rp-prod78591 with cashback

It's a great price for them both. Have the 105s bought from them as a gear kit with both mechs & cables for £182 two months ago. It's a fantastic drivetrain - full 105 - for the money.

Having said that I run a few bikes on a combination of parts & I can't help but think that a lot of it is marketing guff. The price difference betwen the 105 & Ultergra full drivetrain from them was about £200 for a roughly 200 gram weight saving - eh?

My vote for any bike is keeping it clean, well lubed & well maintained. I'm not a clean freak i.e. cleaning after every ride but once something starts feeling off or squeaking, generally a good clean, lube & tighten will sort it.

Having said that, off to clean the bikes with this £9.99 delivered & cashback via TCB or Quidco http://www.evanscycles.com/products/fenwicks/fs1-cleaner-concentrate-ec020494 THE best cleaning product IMO.

Use it neat in chain baths / on drivetrain & dilute with water in a spray bottle. Lasts ages.

The 105 prices are fantastic. I almost bought them just to have in case I crash and break an Ultegra. I have a full Ultegra 6700 bike as well as the Full 105 5600. The Ultegra is in a different class of precision, I don't know how it would be vs the 105 5700 but I think it would be much closer. For the small additional cost of the Ultegra I know what I will be getting. I am not really concerned so much with weight but 200 GBP for a savings of 200 grams might be considered a real bargain in some circles. ;) I will be upgrading this particular bike to all Ultegra as the need arises. It has a 6600 Ultegra derailleur now and the jockey wheel frame is slightly bent, that might get replaced with 6700 very soon.

Thanks ordered two, if you look at the reviews they are good but sizing is small, so ordered a size bigger. Seems like a right bargain.

I'm a medium in 'normal' clothes but ordered a XL after one reviewer said he's normally a medium but even a large was a bit snug and the sleeves came up a little short.

No because it's a rip off price from an awful seller. This is a "bargains" thread. 57ml of lube for £4.08 isn't a bargain in anyone with half a brain cell.

Whereas 100 ml for £3.99 from a reputable site is. In fact you come across just like I imagine their typical customers / staff are like....

When you compare the price of the product with other sites who sell it for at least £6 then it is a bargain wouldn't you say?

You've obviously got a problem with probikekit...which is your prerogative but if I find a product cheaper elsewhere I'll buy it. You choose a different product from another site...good for you.

By the way where did you get 57ml from? It's a 120ml bottle.

And don't comment on the type of person I am when you don't even know me.

I've bought a few things from probikekit and never had a problem, received very good service actually. Bought an ultegra 6700 cassette the other day which turned up this morning, not bad for 34 quid.

Just picked up off fleebay a bike seat to go on the back of my town bike to take the little one to and from nursery for the grand sum of 99p. It is a brand new hamax kiss which retails for around £55. The guy forgot to put a reserve on it, going to cost me more in fuel to pick it up

I hope you take pity on the poor seller and give them a pound coin and tell them to keep the change? Good spot BTW.
