Found a Bargain? Do Tell.

Just popped into Halfords and checked out the tights. Not impressed with the quality of the pad. This seems to be the same across the Adidas range and reviews relating to the bib short pad are not good.

Not entirely sure if this is a bargain or not, let you decide:

They got a poor review on cycling weekly this week. I ordered them before and had to return as where too large. Order as per your Adidas size, than usual up a size for cycling if you normally do that

If you are looking for bib tights, I reckon the best option is roubaix ones that have no padding - wear your cycling shorts over the top. Usually spend less and keeps your danglies warmer

As for you montage... Roubaix yes good for keeping warm but you wear your padded shorts under them ,not over, never wear anything under padded shorts

I'd say the opposite - but it really doesn't matter. Wearing them over the shorts makes it a bit slippy in my experience, and the longs may catch the nose of the saddle when sitting back down. Also shorts on top looks better.... a la superman and batman
