I am sure I have made a cock up here but was looking for some mudguards for my road bike and saw these at Halfords. Not sure why they are so cheap but for £3 I an risk them being useless, not sure also the difference between these and the other more expensive ones...

Picked these up today, took them a while to find some but they honoured it. Thanks for that :biggrin:

I used a SRAM chain about two years ago on an ultegra groupset and said never again. Chain suck and changing was awful, then one day whilst examining it, I realised the manufacturers lubricant was a very heavy tacky grease and nothing like what I get on my usual KMC chains. So I thoroughly degreased it and relubricated it and it solved the problem.

Anyway, the offer was too good, so I bought two more. But this time I will degrease and relube them before fitting

I agree after feeling them, but shimano chains have the same gloop on them. IIRC shimano/sram are also made by KMC anyway.
