Can these be used with Shimano 10 speed chains or only SRAM?

Can't help with that exact question, but might be worth noting that they aren't the same as quicklinks. The 10speed ones apparently aren't designed to come apart again. Just in case anyone doesn't read the description, as i nearly did.

Anyone know of any deals on bib shorts? Need to order a pair tonight!

Both, but pick up some Wippermann Connex links instead: no tools required and genuinely reuseable whereas the Sram ones might fail if repeatedly reused.

Continental Supersport Plus Puncture belt tyre - only available in 700 x 23 - £13.70 at CRC - remember to use Topcashback.

I got a couple of these to replace my new, under 50 miles of use, Shwalbe Blizzard that split at the stitching - WTF?!

Can't see much getting through these Contis as they are insanely thick. My Conti Sport Contact that came as stock are excellent but relegated to my "spare tyre rack" for the winter as they are 37s.

As with all "puncture proof" tyres that have a wire bead they are a PITA to fit unless you have some toe straps/ string/ cable ties to hold in place. Search Youtube for fitting Marathan Plus tyres & a very affable bearded chap will guide you through the process & there really is no need for tyre levers. Not the type of tyres you really want to be refitting at the side of the road though!

In my experience they roll and grip really well and look a lot better than the limited pic that they have on the site.

Downside is that they ain't light but a small price to pay IMO.

Yes, it's a bargain. If you want one go for it.

IMHO, life's too short to try and carry out crusades against large multi national companies who won't give a damn if a few people try and make a stand against them.

Back to the Garmin 500, it's a great bit if kit. I have the cadence and HRM and ths gives a ton of stats to look into when you've done a big ride. Recommended
