That's one of the issues. The other is the disappearing breadcrumb trail that can happen any time. With mine it made navigation next to impossible since the track would disappear randomly and usually just as I was approaching a turn. Since I moved to a new area and needed my Garmin to navigate new routes I sold it (for £5 less than I paid for it 2 years earlier - used Garmin prices are insane) and bought an Edge 800.

This is the same point I was making.
However I found that courses under 40 miles were fine, anything over that then it disappeared as you say.

mine only disappear if you try to follow them backwards and have not deliberately gone off course and come back on course.... (reversing the course and saving as a new name in GC does nothing except online. the course sends to the edge 200 in the same name and direction (and without any other modifications after first save).... even clearing it off the edge 200 manually does not resolve the issue....

and before you ask why I follow them backwards, its a long commute to my mothers and grandfathers and I have yet to find the exact variation I am after...

I like. I'm looking for ones that I can put in the garage to take 4 bikes, but be movable if required. Also saw these, which you can bolt together, but more expensive:

I can't be certain, but that looks like a better quality version of the one I linked to. Not that the one I linked is poor quality, but it's 'adequate' rather than very good. You pays your money and takes your chance:smile:
