my socks have arrived, seem fine, but Lewiskit not winning any awards, but then, for the price!
+1 ..... though I suspect they only arrived today after I emailed LewisKIT yesterday to ask who at 'The Old Gingerbr MK18 1JT' signed for them on 4 September

The power of email - it brought the socks to me

My socks are here today also
For the price they seem good value, and the delivery, well no more time than most retailers.

Seriously? I ordered at 10:30 on 27th August and they arrived on 7th September - 11days including weekends. If I'd ordered from any other etailer I've used over the last few years they'd have been here within 48 hours! I'm talking about probikekit, Wiggle and CRC though there are others, too.

It's been a long time since I've had to wait for an order for so long!

Your right, the service from those retailers is exceptional. I think in my own mind I have become a bit spoilt by that fast service and sometimes expect that from every time. i will give them the benefit of the doubt this time ;)
Anyway I wont be neeeding any socks for a while

Cheers for posting that User, not as good pocket-wise as my Endura 3/4s, but for £15, these are pretty damn good.

Down to £9.99 today.

Damn. Haven't read this thread for awhile and missed the PBK sunglasses. I've got some 'ultimate hardware' brand ones from the lbs a couple of months ago which look exactly the same but one of the nose pads has fallen off and disappeared :welcome:
Paid £20 for 'em as well.

im finding PBKs website a bit of a pain to navigate, not so bad when you have a direct link to a bargain but sniffing stuff out is not easy.

The 'iron' ones, which look the same as my existing ones, still come out as £21.92 with postage. If the lbs still has them in for £20 its a no-brainer. Plus I'd probably be out when they are delivered and the postal depot for picking up parcels isn't far from the shop anyway. Just really annoying I can't get a new pad for them.

Try a los (local opticians store) they may be able to repair the pad on the bridge of your existing specs. Had the same thing happen to some sunglasses of mine and I wasn't even charged for the work.
