Got my PBK Motions today (apparently there was a local postal strike Friday & Saturday), the only thing more you could ask for from them is a cleaning cloth. The first thing you do when you get them is to start swooping the lens in and out, next you know the lenses are covered in finger prints!!

I got the card through the door on Friday, so my postie was working. Arranged for it to be redelivered to my local post office today, and popped in on my way home from work. The post office counter was closed for the Bank Holiday!
Yet when I got home a set of brake cartridges/blocks I'd ordered had arrived, so the posties were working. Not very joined up working there. Miffed that I'll need to trail round again tomorrow; I could take the bike but there's nowhere to chain it up to outside so it's not safe.** Edit ** I tell a lie - Street View shows that there are some fences around trees that I could use. Funny how I've walked past them for years and not taken in the fact that they're there!

I got a refund too - poor stock control seeing as I ordered last Thursday!!

tell me about it, i amassed a basket containing several thousands of pounds of bike stuff, the total cost of which it said was 0.00, click continue or whatever and suddenly the price was in the region of 7.5K what gives?

Went to chain my bike up to the tree fences as seen in Streetview, only to find they were nowhere to be seen. No wonder I've not noticed the trees when I've been to the post office; it's not just me going senile, which is a real relief.
