No worries - glad to be of service. And give my regards to Epsom BTW. I was born and grew up there until leaving for University. Really miss the mountain biking around there !

These came today, I wore them with short sleeved Merino base layer a short sleeved Dare2b T shirt and my Altura Night Vision Evo Windproof. It was pretty cold out today on the moors but I was warm and comfortable and my arms were just right. Don`t know how long they will last , but seem well made and at £4.99 i`m not complaining. Will probably get another pair as well.

With the first flurries of snow it must be time to contemplate winter tyres!

Possibly cheaper from Germany at bike-discount.de
For 700c tyres - including a 700x30c model here. From £42 for two including shipping, which seemed a decent price.
For 26" tyres - including a cut down version of the Schwalbe Winter for £16.80 (exc shipping).

No connection with them but happy this morning when out on those icy roads.

Went to Aldi in Old Colwyn this morning, loads of cycling stuff there at reduced prices. Saddle tool bag reduced to £1.79 from £3.99. Compression base layer £4.99 from £9.99. Got those two items and flowers for my wife ( not reduced). Cycling socks , jerseys, jackets, shoes, all reduced too but don't need any yet.
By the way, the saddle bag is a double decker one so I can put 2 spare inner tubes in one and tools in the other. Great.
