I ordered a pair of Altura Ergofit BIb Tights from Cycle Store - reduced from £69.99 to £34.99 and then another £5 off with xmas12 code.

They are unpadded, so I will be wearing them over padded shorts or 3/4's to help stop certain parts of me getting too cold :shy:

Don't be fooled by the word 'Ergofit'. I bought some of these in a sale a few weeks back and while they're acceptable for £35, the fit is pretty poor. If I'd paid full whack for them they'd have gone straight back.

I think this might be a batch of seconds, i bought a pair and im happy with them but stitching came out on both legs where there is a ridge so they are flat now on the outside of the thighs , they are quite big made aswell , on the plus side they are really warm but i,ve not tested them in the wet yet.
Possibly these would suit a chubbier rider better .

If you want a small, fairly powerful Android smartphone with a reasonable camera and GPS to take out on your rides, and don't want to tie yourself down to a contract, I recommend buying a used Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray on eBay. I've just bought one for £70 and have seen other examples go for about that price. That is a lot less than the bigger, more trendy phones go for.

The screen is very clear, but it is small so you will need great eyesight or to use reading glasses. You will also need smallish fingers for the touchscreen, or do what I did and buy a small stylus which parks in the earphone socket when not in use.

Phone size: 111 mm x 53 mm x 9.4 mm; Phone weight 100 g.

Ok, so it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my price league but it might interest someone on here.

CRC have dropped the price of the Corratec E-Bow electric bike by £1,900 (hold on, don't get too excited) from the whopping price of £6,899.99 down to a very reasonable (!) £4,999.99 ! It's not a bad reduction but, as my father would have said, you could buy a car for that !

And I thought that there was a recession on !

Didn't mention anything about being seconds on the website so I hope not. The fit is worse than any bibs I've ever owned, much worse than even cheap DHB stuff. One of the good things about them though and the main reason I bought them is that they have a lightweight mesh bib. I find most bibs make my upper half overheat due to the thick bib part. I don't get why manufacturers think this is necessary when it's easy to keep warm with the right choice of baselayer and jacket. Having a thick insulated bib just makes them less flexible and (for me) unsuitable if it's >~5°C.

It says RRP of £8,699.99, so that's actually a reduction of £3,700
