I ordered a new Garmin GSC10 cadence sensor at the weekend its £25 on Amazon and you might get another fiver off if you sign up to their Credit Card (I didn't) I also saw it for £24 on another site (I forget which one ) but I decided to go with the devil I know ;) The cadence sensor is £45 on other sites.

Evans Cycles have got the Kona Jake Cyclocross bike in a variety of sizes for £750, down from £1000. It's the cheapest price that I can find anywhere online. Seriously tempted . . . .

I know, I'm not really interested in riding cyclocross - the roads round here are pretty rough and that bike ought to take a lot of abuse whilst still being fairly fast. It would mean less wear and tear on my road bike.
i can see your point, but i have a bike i use for winter(avatar pic) and i use it on all road conditions and the best thing is i bought it cheap but i have changed a few things on it like the tyres...

Well I have just undertaken a bit of an upgrade on my old Raleigh steel MB. I took off the cheap cantilever system that didn't actually work that well and replaced it with a V brakes.

I used the Clarks kit, purchased from Halfords, which has two levers, two v brakes, two cables, pads, noodles, cable ends and all screws needed. Its complete, in other words. Works perfectly, stops the bike well. Price of £27 for the lot has to be a bargain. Longevity - time will tell but seems to be decent quality kit to hopeful

I'm not supposed to be spending any more but ... this just means that I've some waterproof tights/trousers to buy and I'm fully kitted out until next summer.

Nalini Crispo jacket - £70 instead of £160

Edit; received the Medium, which whilst 36-38" chest is too small. Ordered a Small and I'll return whichever one fits least. However, it looks good quality.
