New carbon bike with many ultegra components for £359.20...... what's the catch....? Worth getting for the components alone even if frame too small... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Whistle-Creek-Ultegra-Speed-Carbon/dp/B007PBZ5Y8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_sg_5

Yesterday I bought a pair of roll top pannier bags in red from Aldi for £5.
Also available in blue and white but they only had one left of each but five in red.

I wasn't sure if it was £5 a pair or each but as they were handed and only one (of the ones I picked up) had a barcode tag that said 'Bicycle Luggage Bag Set' I made the assumption it was a pair.
Not completely water proof but cheap enough.
Comes with a bottle net at the front and a bit of reflective at the rear. There is also a pocket at the base that contains a tethered 'shower cap' in matching red and a clip on shoulder strap to carry off the bike.

Update!

I have only used the pannier bags a few times.
I had the right side one on my hack and it was fine except I needed it on the left side to facilitate locking up at the hospital so I moved it over from right to left. No problem except the reflective faced forwards.

I then decided to use the left side bag proper.
One ride and one of the rack hooks broke off.

I shall have to buy/make better hooks and change all of them.

Best bargain must be the Magicshine MJ-808 with waterproof battery for under £40. I would have posted this earlier but didn't want them to go out of stock before I'd got confirmation mine was in the post!

Well I finally got to the Post Office to collect the parcel which arrived on Monday while I was at work only to find they had sent me a wireless USB adaptor NOT the Magicshine.:banghead:

Guess what are now out of stock again...

Planet-X have bought the San Marino brand SAB - and the sale starts with two 44cm and 48cm frames at £400 instead of £1494: http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/FRSAALIC/sab_alicudi_carbon_frame_and_fork

Posted about whether or not I really needed Marathon Winters, but thought it was worth putting the actionsport.de link here too – 700x35c 240-stud for only €27.90 each works out at about £50 posted for a pair, which I reckon is a great price

I've been looking at the "Tacx Satori Pro home trainer" on the internet, .... decathlon was the cheapest and just checked this morning and it is reduced again to £129.99, seems a great bargain ( or will it fall to bits after first use :cursing: ) http://www.decathlon.co.uk/satori-pro-home-trainer-id_8164386.html#
Nope its a great trainer and a steal at that price. Actually im pretty sure i saw Contador warming up on one in a video i watched not long ago. If its good enough for him, well....
