Wondering about getting a turbo trainer (dark mornings) - would this be a good one to go for?
I can't speak for the Minoura trainer, but I did buy the Tacx Satori last week from Decathlon £129.99, it also comes with a block for the front wheel and a mat. It also gets good reviews and is on sale at Evans for around £225 without the mat. It's very sturdy and well worth the money, IMHO, http://www.decathlon.co.uk/satori-pro-t1830-home-trainer--id_8164386.html

These are seriously great jackets, and that is one great bargain! I was wearing mine today when it was -1 and only needed a base layer underneath and I ws warm as toast.

Have you got this one or the newer model ? What is the fit like ? Cheers

Looks like the one I have. I bought mine last year so not sure about what version. There is a lot of stretch if it's needed. I put on a lot of weight since I bought it but it stretches enough to still fit. It really is a cold weather jacket tho. I was out this week with a base layer and the jacket on and it was 4 degrees, and I was pishing with sweat!! Today, it was about 0 degrees, and I had a base layer and the jcket and it was fine

What Noodley said.

I paid £150 for mine two years ago

I have one of these as does Bent Mikey of this parish and they are extremely good jackets but they really are for cold days. THey are waterproof in all but the most persistent (6 hour) downpour. I have to say they look pretty good too:smile:

Noodley ,Mista Preston, thanks for the info .
I think I will give it a miss then, as although it has had rave reviews, they all say it is a very cold weather jacket . As I tend to run "hot" I don`t think it will suit me. Will probably go for the Gore Cosmo which also has had good reviews.
