I've been looking at a lightweight Tenn Jacket and noticed it's cheaper on their sister site cycle clothes by more than 1/2. I also notice that everything seems cheaper on the cycle clothes site. Are they selling Tenn seconds or is there something else I'm missing.

Hmm ... looks like everything on the Tenn site is now being sold at "RRP". I'd guess that's either a glitch on the website or a bit of "price establishment": in order to claim they're selling items at a discount they're supposed to occasionally market them at full price. The cycle-clothes prices are the same as their eBay/Amazon/Play prices.

Just a note re. Tenn; their shirts are on the large size compared to others i.e. a Small is 38-40" which is usually a Medium.

I've been using a pair of their Viper shorts ( http://www.cycle-clothes.co.uk/mens...viper-cycling-shorts-with-pad-blackyellow-sml ) all winter with leggings over the top. Whilst the stitching has come a bit loose they've been fine and washed well.

i agree that tenn clothes are good value; my only complaint is inconsistent sizing (shorts are cut small, while "race fit" jacket is large and flappy)

Just popped into Sports Direct this morning whilst the wife was shopping and they had Karrimor wind proof running gilets for £3.69 although not technically cycle clothing a bargain all the same. I got a high viz and blue one! I wore one for a quick 10 miler this lunchtime and was fine.

I'm glad the shorts are a little small as my reduced size is still fitting into them. They're not quite as snug as they once were but still good for a while longer.
I've gone from a 36" waist jeans to 32".

Bought some fingerless gloves from Lidl about 10 days ago. £3.49 but won't last long, I guess. I reckon that the gel in the palms has come from reject breast implants.
