Anyone know where the best London lidl store is for the cycling gear usually? Of course you can choose to withhold the info and just buy everything yourself instead but where's the fun in that?

Is the Charge Spoon as comfy as people make out.
Seem's it's a very popular saddle.
I bought one when it was at £19.99 and only used it for just over 60 miles and is no comfier yet then my standard saddles on both my bikes (a Giant and a Specialized). I'm guessing I need to give it time to break in as my standard saddles after months on them they never got any more comfortable. At that price thought it's worth a punt.

It seems like about 85% of users love them, the rest don't. The good news is that if you do not like it, it will get snapped up 2nd hand so you can cover your costs

I've found it to be a bit hit and miss - I know the big one on the Old Kent Road usually stocks more than my smaller local one but the main point is to get there early enough - ideally before the bargain peloton rolls in.

Right, back to the thread topic - I've just noticed that LiDL are celebrating the longer sunlit days by selling cheap batteries and chargers from Monday 26. 4 AA 2500mAh for £3. I could have done with them over the winter! Details HERE

Well I got up at stupid o'clock to go to the Lidl in Cricklewood and hurray have come back with 2 cycling jerseys, a waterproof jacket and waterproof 3 quarter length Lycra shorts for the (time-will-tell) bargain price of £43.

Happy to post pics if wanted, already fair few people there raiding things so I'd get to your nearest one fast!

Also I should say, my OH bought the pannier bag for £15 and it looks like its really decent quality for that price. Waterproof material but also comes with a high-vis waterproof cover, 40l capacity.

The Giant store in Bristol (Bradley Stoke) have just got stocks of 2011 bikes at high discounts.

They didn't have any to suit me six weeks ago when I bought mine, unfortunately, so I had to go online, but these are just in & seem very competitively priced. The guys there have always been very helpful & parts prices are reasonable too. Phone number is 01454 620771.
