That gravel bike sounds insanely cheap, considering it's 105 (mechanical) equipped

Old stock being cleared, most Gravel bikes comes with a 1x groupset (and the ability to take much wider tyres, this is more of a roadbike jumping on the gravel bandwagon (it's fitted with road tyres for starters and they call it an 'urban' bike not Gravel) .
Not full 105, and have never heard of

reviews seem to say spyre knock offs that have a lot of travel and underpowered

It only has 35mm tyre clearance; which isn't enough for a modern gravel bike.

But then it is described as "the original ORRO gravel bike".
I thought mechanical 105 came with hydraulic disc brakes, suppose those shifters are designed to work with 105 rim brakes?

Looks ideal as a cheap(er) commuting weapon.

Don’t you need hydraulic shifters with hydraulic discs on a drop bar?

105 R7100 (12 speed) is hydraulic dual control levers only.
105 R7000 (11 speed) shifters are available in hydraulic and non-hydraulic flavour.

And this Orro comes with the latter - guess they must have glut of 11-speed 105 or they've found a good stash of it.
