@fossyant thanks! I’ve purchased a set of essential WTB i19 wheels with a 135mm hub. Most hubs out there seem to be 143mm now! At £68.75 an absolute bargain.

If anyone is after a set of 650b with a boost hub they can be had from the clearance section for a little over £38.00.

Same wheels I got but with through axel hubs 100mm and 142mm. I've put a bid on 2 slightly used centreline rotors as my front rotor is a non common 170mm.

Yes 6 bolt. "Centre Line" are SRAM's name for their discs - I've gone for the same discs as my existing wheels so I can do a straight Swap.

You are thinking Centre Lock.

Superstar have increased the wheel discount to 75%. They also seem to have more stock as I was able to get a 650B XC wheelset with 100mm and 142mm through-axel spacing (non-boost). £68.75 is crazy for a set of MTB wheels. They didn't have my hub size last time

There wasn't the hub option on the All Mountain/Enduro wheelsets, but the XC wheelset is more in line with what I'm using already. Just need to source a 170mm Centreline Rotor - might have to be an ebay search

25% off everything else on the superstar site too if you spend £35. Been thinking of replacing the stem on the Dawes Super Galaxy as I find the adjustable one ugly, so will probably make an order tomorrow.

Just brought a pair 28 spokes as have 20/24 and 32h wheels so would like to try 28h wheels!

I hadn't spotted they had these left. I got another set of the 32h ones. For £37 I count resist and I have a frame waiting for a set of wheels.

Just a heads up really, not a specific deal. Aldi have reduced some of the cycling/sportswear according to HotDeals. Jackets down to under a tenner for example. Probably not worth a special trip but worth having a look if you were going anyway.

My second set arrive today. Great service.

Should be ok with 28mm tyres which is what I run on the Holdsworth on a 622x14 rim. 32mm marathons I run on the Super Galaxy will be more experimental. But if it doesn't work I have my Dawes custom build waiting on a wheelset, I wasn't happy with any of the ones I have so that's the backup use for them. That will probably run the 25mm tyres I have sat doing nothing, will try and do a test fit soon.

Test fitted a 32mm Marathon Plus and it went on fine. Seems to be well seated, just need some rim tape and I'll fit the pair and test.

Superstar are selling out fast. I know a number of us ordered the 650b XC MTB wheelsets but they've gone, but Superstar did say their wide rim DH wheelset was available, so I've ordered that for £87. They do come with a superior hub with SKF bearings and additional seals and twice as many pawls. These have confirmed shipping.
