Cheeky - but seems the right place to post: Anyone seen any bargain tyre's around right now ?

700C x 30 ideally........or 700 x 28 if i have too. For commuting + with some tread for all year use. Not slicks !

CX Comps are a little aggressive i think; for my 90% tarmac use. And unfortunately the Challenge @ £9.99 appears to be 33C only. Not sure they'll fit....30C is pushing it !

I'll likely have to take my bike to my LBS and somehow see if i can trial a few fronts (Where i'll lack space first) to see what fits; and then buy a matching rear to suit. Not ideal as they are quite expensive; and have limited options....

Spot on size and tread pattern ! *Hopefully with the worst of the weather gone; i wont be needing studs though (And wouldn't / don't ride if they are needed anyway )

Think i'm semi-looking for the holy grail. 30C seem somewhat scarce........

Why do you need ‘proper’ tread for 90% tarmac? Vittoria Rubinos aren’t completely slick and come in a 28mm

28/30c - basically a nat's todger in difference. Don't stress over it.

Because it's what i fancy today :-) I also want to feel comfortable when i do use the 10% off-road. Which might stretch to more than that.....

@sevenfourate, I use the next level up the CX pro and they are light and roll well on concrete/tarmac and cope with gravel, compacted shared pathways well.

Probably too aggressive a tread but lightweight!
