I first noticed it in Oswestry but the Wrexham Aldi is also selling off the summer bike stuff - some prices are different though - Wrexham has the windproofs at £9.99 but their lighting kits are only £1.99. I assume it's company policy to sell off unsold stock after <x> number of weeks.

Aldi have their sports glasses from Sunday 26th - look quite good for cycling, and at £3.99 (with 3 sets of lenses) I think I'll give them a try!

It let me make an order, and emailed me an hour or so later to tell me its out of stock, but more will be in soon.

And - taking payment for something that isnt in stock - surely that is a bigger card security risk, using it when you don't need it.

What time did you order?

I ordered about half six and got an email saying it would be sent out by two day courier, no mention of it not being in stock.

If you check the site carefully you'll find them in black as well.
