My usual 'escort service' is available for anyone in East London or arriving at any of the City train stations (plus London Bridge). Please send a PM with your arrival time and mobile phone number.
Wowbagger arrives at Liverpool Street at 10.31, and I believe that Sig will be meeting him there.

I'll be at Victoria at 11.15, and I'll ride up to HPC at 11.30.

Grumpy Greg Collins will meet you at Vic then, same as last time. I'll be the one with mudguards and a rack

quite fascinating to do a metcheck on London, Dartford, Gravesend, Rochester Faversham, Whitstable in succession.

Looks at the mo like we will get wet in West Kent....

Metcheck is now showing it totally dry all night, but XCWeather is showing some rain all night.

I think we'll have to wait and see what happens tonight before we can be sure!

Matthew tells me that the EA forecast is now dry - but with a headwind. A bit of grouping together may be called for....

some bizarre stuff coming out of Metcheck now - headwinds, tailwinds, but no rain. I wouldn't worry about the wind. 65 riders will form some substantial bunches - and a lot of the route is pretty sheltered.

Ahh...so this is where you have all been hiding...! I have only just found the new blog after being 'away' for a while. Looking forward to tonights ride though and catching up. It will be interesting to see what sights and sounds we might encounter tonight. Last years Whitstable ride was quite entertaining as far as I recall, Dartford and Chatham providing most of the humour.

I'm afraid, and I apologise for the late notice, that I must bail on this one. Combination of dodgy knee, likely poor weather, and domestic pressure

And I was really looking forward to my bacon sandwich. I hope someone can be found that'll eat two, otherwise I'll gladly stump up for it anyway

Have a fabulous time guys, I regret that the sparkly socks and I are now undertaking alternative activities.

I did that ride with a headwind during the day on Sunday, while feeling extremely unfit, so if I can, anyone can...
