You mean like that drawing of Eeyore with his own personal raincloud?

Yep it wouldn't have been the first time that happened!! In a truly horrible world it will be paired with my GPS getting me lost on the way back thereby adding a couple of hours of rain!

You manage to sound Like Eeyore as well.

...you do look a bit of an eyesore, (or is there really an 'eeyore' word?...) Big M.... I guess that's probably the generic rough hewn granite Northern misery effect that, though...

Guys, what's the guesstimated time of departure from Brighton on Friday? Bearing in mind the cycle policy and my rapidly diminishing funds, I thought it would be a good idea to book my ticket online before Friday.

I really must get better at planning train journeys....................

There's also probably enough of us, to utter the magic word of Group Save on the day.
FWIW my not particularly concrete plans currently are mid/late morning for leaving Brighton

I've got a spare ticket + bike reservation from Brighton for the 12.19 train on Friday - pm me this morning and I'll sort out getting it to you (or anyone else that wants it). Des

I would anticipate the existence of spare advance tickets. Before you buy anything, try a PM in the direction of The Claud

If memory serves me rightly, I have four tickets for the 14:19. I think I promised one each to McWobble and Ross should they need them. If I've promised the other to anyone else please remind me so I don't have to go through the whole thread again. So at time of writing I think I've got one spare, and if so then it's Wanda's if she wants it...

I have 3 extra tickets for the 11.30 from Newhaven to Clapham Junction (change at Lewes) w/bike reservations

If you're going on to Brighton for nosh & beers - I've also still got 1 spare ticket for the 14.19 from Brighton to East Croydon w/bike reservation

Please note tickets don't go all the way through to London.

Anyone interested, please PM me.
