It will be nice to see your routes.
I would like to do that but not sure how.. could you give me a point in the right direction.
Start my own group perhaps and enlist a few friends..

just plug the garmin in, you may need garmin connect loaded, strava will search for the unit and upload the files.I would like to do that but not sure how.. could you give me a point in the right direction.

OK I understand that bit but how would other people get to see the routes?
Post a link to a ride on here and everyone can see it, from that people can request to follow you, that way every time you ride they will get a notification on their Strava dashboard.
No worries, look forward to seeing your rides, just don't tell us how warm it is!Ah right.. I will do that and see what happens.![]()
This sounds like good advice OK for me as where I live its flat for quite a way before some hillsIf possible start off going down a hill or flat so you can just take it easy until you warm up. Just stick at it and keep setting yourself goals/targets to achieve.![]()
if you want to record them for logging, just do a trip to the LBS, then restart, do your ride then, finish and do another home. my spreadsheet then tots the total up for day, week ect.....I always warm up for rides upto about 15 miles anything more than that I just go slower for a bit then try to make it up as the ride goes on
I ride around to the LBS and 'officially' start and finish all my rides from there, I loose a few miles in terms of logging miles but just find it easier for me to ride once warm.
Thats all I do, I know I am not going to get to the stage of someone 25years younger than me. No matter how bad a ride I have, like yesterday http://app.strava.com/activities/42086126 it always encourages you if you get a p.b. especially if it's a difficult section. http://app.strava.com/activities/42086126#705485592 it's not a long section but it has a double bend in it.http://app.strava.com/activities/39861272
Here's my first ride I've put on here, this was on my mtb but I do have rides for my road bike as well..
Being an old coddger of 61 I wont be trying to race as my targets will be a better average and better distance.. I would like to improve but not race and bearing in mind its 50c in the summer up here.
I will put a road one on later today..
Vikings fan myself(made to convert when I married), but I live over here, and lunch with a Green Bay Packers Fan. Great fun.No, I'm a Jet. But I follow quite a few teams, as do mates, it's easier to like lots of players etc when you live a couple of thousand miles away. My friend, a Pats fan, also has a AJ Green Jersey

That looked arduous in places.
And warm up properly, especially when it's so darn cold
