Norm's choices echo mine, funny as we both have Secteurs. I love my B17 on my Brompton too. And my Hi-Viz Buff. One thing I am not so enamoured with is my Polar FT80 with GPS1. It has let me down so many times and in so many ways that I wish I'd bought a Garmin.

I would say my track pump.
I had thought only bicycle shop owners could justify having a track pump, but after buying my own find it's just so much easier to keep the tyres fully inflated.
My Lidl gloves come a close second, three winters old and still going strong.

My double kickstand, nurses lock and plug in chain. I love not having to carry a separate lock and I love being able to park the bike up anywhere, lock it with a key and walk away.

I'm also quite fond of my outsize rear basket which is a freezer basket I rescued from someones bin

My Garmin Edge 800. Cycling without it would be pointless as its only figures that keeps me going and also the virtual opponent in the Edge believes in political correctness and equality and it does not say "Keep up you fat b*****d" when I'm labouring up a steep hill, like real opponents.

But there again I wish it did as its proven that getting mad and aggressive helps your performance, so perhaps Garmin should bring out a software update to make it more aggressive and do away with all the beeps, and replace it with foul language and rude gestures.

Reelights. Maybe not the most glamourous of items, but reassuring to have on the bike as back ups. I've got a few gadgets on order, so maybe my view will change in the coming weeks....

I quite like fidling with my Garmin, it gives a great deal of satisfaction to view the ride I've done on screen. Mines's an FR305 because I use it for running too. After that I'd have to think on the maintenance side and the addittion of a stand has made life so much easier, I'm not sure if that counts in this context though as it's not on bike.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
At this time of year it has to be overshoes, and the other bit of kit I am finding almost indispensible is a Topeak Tribag.
