Meanwhile another (rival) band Swashbuckle have a parrot:

Allegedly the rivalry goes into the artwork with the parrot eating Alestorm's rat on the cover of the Swashbuckle album.

Alestorm got their own back by barbequing the parrot on the sleeve of thei next cover!

Manfred Mann's "The Good Earth" was in fact the deeds to a small 1 foot square of a mountain in the Brecon Beacons. - All you needed to do was register your claim.
