I can't get wrap arounds with my high rx , period
The inserts are separate and not wrap around replacement lenses, they clip in behind the lens.

The Oakleys might look good, they could be the best looking riding glasses in the world but if they don't take the inserts you need then you may as well throw them away.

Try Rudy or Briko, they both do prescription inserts that sit inside on a separate carrier to the outer lens.

Whome?

The other issue is that I also have a high astigmatism too so that makes it even less likely

I don't know anywhere online that sells them, I got mine from my optician.
They are called Rx Inserts, ask an optician if they know anything about them and if they can help you. Because they don't need to wrap anywhere near as much as the main lens, it really is a lot easier to accommodate high levels of eyesight correction.

I used to have Bolle glasses with an RX insert - Eventually needed to change them as the glasses themselves started to fall to bits. Saw an advert for Tesco Opticians, and picked up a pair of basic sports glasses with RX inserts for £40 (special new store offer). Anyway, found that the sports glasses were poor optically, and it felt like I was 2 foot lower to the ground.

Not happy.

But, dug out a pair of Bolle safety glasses, and found the RX inserts fitted behind them. Right how to fix it in ? I used a small bit of wire that anchors to the bridge of the glasses and forms a small loop, I was able to then slot the inserts in with the loop acting like a clip and holding them in place over the nose bridge.

I can also swap the inserts with other tinted Bolle specs so long as I modify the specs with a loop.

The best seem to be Rudy Project, and they can cope with high prescriptions.

As these Oakleys will have a permanent bodge, can you fix the 'inserts' in with some wire (bent paperclip) - depends very much on the frame, and if there is anywhere to mount.

I got some Windrams with prescription inserts. £100 all in from Vision Express and copper, clear and smoke lenses. Prescription can be what you want. I suppose if you have a really strong prescription they may be a little more. They're wrap around enough for me.

Nice

The bodge I first had included my old frame and was quite like yours

Now tho and as my lenses are mirrored I've packed just the rx lenses in with tac, used it like that for the last 2 days with great results - will now lessen the tack and add adhesive tape - the bonus of this is I can change both the rx and none rx lenses and it's not permanent so , if I ever did get laser surgery ( unlikely ) then I can simply remove the tape and tac and I'm good to go.
