Ok....

I ordered some Oakley jawbones with perscrition lenses , they came clear and not tinted as I asked and paid for

I got a refund and now have a nice set of fire lenses

The issue is I'm blind and can't use them without my prescription

I saw an old pair of glasses and removed the arms, they fit inside perfectly , but now I need a solution to keep them there without movement

Here's what I have to work with Your help is much appreciated

I'll be watching this with interest gb155!

I have some sports glasses, and I use them with contact lenses. Trouble is I can't get on with bifocal contacts so can only see distance, can't read a map or directions.

I end up having to use glasses for longer rides - which isn't too clever. I have prescription sunglasses and the normal ones are photochromic, but neither wrap round, so insects and dust etc. can still get round. I haven't yet found a solution. I also have an old pair of prescription (bifocal) glasses, so here's hoping someone's solved the puzzle.

Lets hope so

No one in the uk can do lenses in my high rx for wrap arounds , so this really is my only option ( apart from contacts )

It's worth giving Optilabs a call and see what they suggest.
My right eye is very weak and they managed a wraparound lens for me.

I did, it's a no go

One company can but at £220 for the lenses it's not really worth it

I can either sell or bodge and as they ( now ) cost next to nothing , I wanna bodge :-)

Maybe a paper clip through the holes left by the screws of the glasses and bent around the arms of the cycling glasses ... might work .. if it does you could bond it in place with some rapid bond glue

I'm around -4 both eyes, contacts have been great since I switched back to them last year, pricey but worth it to me

Ah, not so blind after seeing Gaz's later comment ;)

I still wear lenses.
I bout the Optilabs glasses for my commute and when I cant be arsed with lenses. Bloody good they are too.
Why don't you just insist on the glasses you ordered?
I could have done but they came from the USA - having been hit for customs once and getting the order wrong once I took a refund meaning the glasses cost me about £80, with the lenses I could resell to get my money back or at least explore another option

I love scrapheap challenge and fancy a bodge

Simples :-)
