Mine was due in May, so I have saved 10 months.

That's all the folks I know, now have shifted their EV VED renewal date to get up to 11 months of £0 VED

There is no money for roads, it just goes into a massive pot for them to waste elsewhere

They might have had some money for the roads if the fuel duty had been put up in line with inflation for the last 14 years.

Just been looking at our VED for the EV, it’s due in October. ( bought used ) . I best re tax it now so I can squeeze another 4/5 months at zero rate !

Driving home from work this afternoon, I saw a Tesla 'Model X'(?) coming in the opposite direction
iIt looked odd at first, as though it had a roof-box on
As it got closer, it was towing a narrow box-trailer!!

Re; the VED references a few posts above
We transferred SWMBOs 'works van' ('65' plate, Toyota Yaris Hybrid) to her ownership last month, & that was £0
A C-HR hybrid that she owned (2018 - 2022), annoyed her, as the VED went up after the first year, the saleman never told her it'd do that
What annoyed her even more was that my Octavia estate (1.6TDi) was only £30
