Hmm - 21st Nov is a Friday. Even so - I'm not available that weekend, any other dates?

50 miles? Too short?

Come on you Southerners!

EDIT: Sitting Duck - all abilities welcome. I'll be in your slipstream.

 Looks like I had better start covering some longer distances then! Was planning on a 20 miler tomorrow (It'll be my furthest so far - don't snigger). Have been going up in 3 mile incriments so maybe I better try 5 mile incriments from next week onwards. That said 50 might be a push for me ;) Will give it a go though!

Not sure if I could do 50 yet but would give it a go. Trouble is I am unlikely to make it until my kids can drive as I'm ferrying them around to football matches at the weekend. Could maybe do odd Saturday in summer as cricket season is less demanding on taxing time. See you in 8 yrs (mind you by then 50 miles should be a cinch!)

Can I make a suggestion, with regard to a route. If possible, design a sort of 'clover leaf' route with points passing close to the start, so that people who can manage less distance can finish at a point near the beginning, while the folk who can do more can go on and do another 'loop'...

Of course, you'll need to keep the pace down for those who are less speedy. If you have enough people, they can choose a faster or slower pace, and you can have a shorter and longer route to a cafe point or whatever...

I tell you what, I do nothing all year, then on 21st I'm off to CenterParcs and 29th off to Twickers for my once a decade International. Typical.

Count me in on a future ride. I hope things go well.
