You laugh but I reckon someone with a bit of social media marketing skills could net decent money baiting the hipster 'OMG, '80s/'90s MTB's make the best all-rounders' crowd.
As for the rest, a local bike library wouldn't be a bad shout

Worth doing if you have loads of free time in the summer
When I was a teenager my Dad volunteered me to fix up some Chopper bikes for a local Kids detention place
there were 5 of them and I managed to get 3 working plus a box of bits that were OK and one frame
took a few days sitting on the lawn surrounded by bits of bike - which was fun!!!
