I checked thru my bank records earlier and ive only spent £90 on fuel this year…..i get all my food shopping delivered, all my timber for the garden works delivered and i work from home. The car as only done around 1k miles since its last MOT in december last year……

so no queing at the pump for me
I agree. I am in a similar position, but retired, so I don't have to use a car for work. The first months of the strict lockdown last year was a good rehearsal on how to get by without a car for an extended period so It's not going to hurt me.

I might have a different view if I needed the car for work.

I’m up in Brexitlandia Lincolnshire on a support visit to Ma and Pa Bollo. Its close to a 400 mile round trip with a detour to Bolletta at her finishing school, but I had a feeling this was going to kick off so filled up before I left. I should make it back fine with about 100 miles left in the tank because I have the right foot of a tender and thoughtful lover. After that, there’s no need for driving so I can wait until all the FBers have run out of room in their baths to store petrol and supplies return to normal in a couple of days.

Tesco Favell was rammed at 06:45 this morning. I only fill up once a month, unless going away anywhere, so it was my normal 'fuel up' event. Last month, same time, a couple of builders vans and one other car.

How can you 'panic buy' fuel. One tank full and a can is about it..
We are the same Mrs CK fills up once a month and it was due today but ..
She didn't know about the issues as she would rather watch 20 year old reruns of Corrie than the news,so when she tried later the pumps were empty

Headline for tomorrow is an organisation of people who drive electric cars driving around all the petrol stations laughing at the people queueing

There will be interviews with the ICE drivers showing the damage this is causing to their mental health and there will be a petition launched for the fuel companies to provide counselling to all ICE car drivers affected

and people with ebikes will be vilified for being smug while riding a bike without due donning of hi-vis, a helmet and lights

or maybe not - I've had a glass of wine

What makes you thinks it was a woman?

Because @Bollo has previously written of Mrs Bollo. But I guess he could have been playing away, you're right.
