Section 34 of part 2 of the Environmental Protection Act (1990) places a general duty of care to keep waste within your control.
I assume then that on the edge of my driveway my waste is within my control, if it's on the pavement, it's out of my control. So thanks for your endorsement. It appears I've fulfilled my part of my obligation to Section 34 of part 2 of the Environmental Protection Act (1990).

You assume wrong. Wheeling your bin to another house is a breach of the duty of care. The statutory guidance is on the defra website.

You're not very good at this, are you?

I'd say that car is style over substance, but there doesn't appear to be much style either.

There is a solid rule that, in the days of bin bags, there was no bag that was uncollectable when £10 notes were stapled to it.

^_^

We're much more likely to do special favours for people who are just nice.We took some hardboard for a little old lady who asked nicely last week.

People who treat us like crap will find we get very determined about rejecting non-recyclable items or dirty stuff.
Horrible, pointless car.
It might be horrible to some but the missus takes the kids round the corner to school in it every day and on Sunday morning I pick me Sunday Mail up in it from the coop down the road. On Saturdays I drive up to my Auntie Hilda's in it (she's 85). It's a win win situation because she's always glad to see me and I take her some provisions and because she lives on a council estate all the poor people can see what they might be able to afford if they got off their lazy fat arses.

I would agree that the best place for the Mail is indeed a coop.
