Flying Dodo
It'll soon be summer
You will need a Torx 25 screwdriver/allen key to undo the bolts.
Torx is only for adjusting the fixed pad on the inside. The actual calliper bolts are a standard 5mm allen key

That's the most accurate way to do it.I find disc brakes easier to align first time by eye, checking daylight through both pads.
It will be when I get round to it.View attachment 145700
The bolts you want are the ones top and bottom that fix the caliper to the black mounting bracket. You see how they have spherical washers? This allows the caliper to be moved about a bit.
Slacken those two bolts. Pull the brake on and hold it on. Tighten the bolts. Is it good now?

I get the feeling you don't appreciate the effort that went into my diagram though
Next time. Pencil is new, still practisingI feel that it needed some Yellow.
Interesting. I've just checked a brand new one I bought last week, and that's still allen bolts on the calliper. Not mine. They are Torx also.

Nah, it's all a fixed distance relative to the frame. The QR just clamps it securely into the dropouts. Your caliper just wants loosening off and realigning.View attachment 145697 So I promised a sketch. Done in a kind of crayon as requested by @User
So if you imagine the QR is left and turned anti clockwise and the nut thingy at the right is turned clockwise, doesn't this shift the axle right relative to how it fits in the dropouts
Edit: yes I know the right hand arrow is also going anti clockwise but I couldn't be a***do to draw it again
Ok shortarse I get itIt is almost as though no one has told him that.
I just wanted an excuse to post a silly drawing really. It is almost as though no one has told him that.
Thank you. You are more helpful than the elfNah, it's all a fixed distance relative to the frame. The QR just clamps it securely into the dropouts. Your caliper just wants loosening off and realigning.
