I'm wondering if Muc Off and the like are too harsh to use regularly with a CF frame?

I think Muc Off would be too aggressive; I don't use it on any of my bikes anymore, I just use baby wipes.

Pledge or Mr Sheen are also excellent. I use Pedge and it brings my Ferrari Red and Black carbon frame up to a shine like nothing else.

The carbon is covered in a lacquer, so Muc Off isn't going to affect it.

What is wrong with soapy water? Ordinary washing-up liquid is all you need and a lot cheaper...

No, but cheapest scented are nice when sat outside in the warm sun pampering the dirty bits off your beloved

7 years! Is that a forum record?! Some of us were still in our prime back then.
What made you check the date of the posts? I never bother unless the date is somehow relevant to the stuff being talked about. Wouldnt have noticed how old this thread is otherwise.
