The carbon is covered in a lacquer, so Muc Off isn't going to affect it.
back in 2005 I used muc-off as the label said 'safe on all finishes' - it actually worked like paint stripper on some parts so I've not gone near it since

I'm wondering if Muc Off and the like are too harsh to use regularly with a CF frame?

Should I just use a bucket soapy water?
I used Muc-Off on my Carbon framed bike. It dissolved:eek: There was nothing left, but a puddle of pink, with some components floating in it. Damn you Muc-Off, with your effective cleaning solution, why do they not tell you it dissolves Carbon Fibre, WHYYYYYYYYYY.

But seriously, It's absolutely fine to use on a CF, or any other material, bike.

Don't do this, or let a child offer to help
