An aerobic long ride up to Peterborough, via Holme. Lovely day to be out. Train home.

A short recovery ride for me at lunchtime. I've the same thing scheduled for tomorrow and if it's dry I'll do it outside again.

3 x 10 mins at Threshold for me today.

It is gonna sting as my coach has increased my FTP again after me doing my best ever 10 and 20 minute powers last week whilst climbing The Gospel Pass. However, I find it hard to put out the same power on flat road.

Yep, that was tough. Just about managed it.

I also tested a fix the guys on the FB "TrainingPeaks Virtual Riders and Racers" page suggested to me to fix the fact that I couldn't get decent Frames Per Second on TPV. It worked and I was back up to 110-140 FPS which looked really nice.

Long endurance ride of 5 hours completed. Shorter endurance outing tomorrow and threshold at weekend.

Good ork, probably quite chilly.

I have a 4-5 hr ride to do on Sunday.
 
With last week being a recovery week (and me doing the sessions outdoors) and I took days off and had long cycles the week before, tonight was my first indoor session in a while. I had threshold workout tonight (Isabel) although a lot of it was pushing into Z5. It was actually scheduled for tomorrow but before temperatures rise again I chose to do it tonight.

If the forecast is right for Thursday I may take my next scheduled SS workout outdoors.

After what seems a very long time doing Z2 / threshold work, am I a bit sad to be looking forward to today's workout which is 2 x 6 1min on / 1min recovery? ^_^

Have to see what power I can maintain for the 1 minute "on"s.
