Ok chaps and chapesses… this months theme will be “Gates” - urban or rural, banjaxed or beautiful, they all count. Usual rules apply noting that pictures of your bike describing it as a gate doesn’t count 😂 Good luck.
Well I guess I was out of my depth with alley ways, but I reckon I’m ok for gates.
First up… I think this old gate would have been part of the Membland Hall Estate. The estate left the Baring/Bulteel family in around 1900. They bought the estate in 1877.
So this wrought iron gate and fence, plus granite posts may have been there for a day or two!
