I know where my towel is
The complete opposite- the shower in my office block broke down on Friday and they're still 'waiting for a part', Monday was a damp drizzly ride and today was a hot humid ride- both met with a toilet sink to freshen up! :cursing:

I actually prefer the shower at my office, and there is more than one!
It is that much better that I shower every morning these days

Mine will be telling us that they will not reinstate cycle to work scheme as it is of no benefit to anyone!. Oh I'm attending a cyclist breakfast at Royal Haskoning in Peterborough to give a talk on cycle safety in my own time on behalf of my constabulary because I can't get my shifts changed!
Feel like cyclists are really supported by my employer!

Just back. Slightly stale sausage and bacon barm, an apple and coffee. Sat outside to eat before coming back. Didn't pick up and freebies - apparently water bottles and puncture kits were available. Well attended though !!

We've got an intranet forum where we can pledge to ride in, with a chance to win £50 of Halford's vouchers.

Also got the mechanic from the LBS to come in next Tuesday to give people's bikes a check.

Only frustration is that they're not making more of the Cyclone, which is on our doorstep!!

Recently asked about ride to work scheme and company didn't want to know really, I work for Wincanton and we distribute for tesco who live the ride to work scheme so a bit annoyed. There's probably 8-10 that frequently ride to work at the moment and as with most cyclist would love another bike. Maybe in the future but I think the government really need to push company's.

Our employer isn't doing anything right now as they are just launching a new green transport initiative for the company. They will normally pay double for people who cycle in during cycle to work week (£2 a day instead of £1) and last year they gave away £100 of Wiggle vouchers each day.

Ours is going to be delayed as they recently provided £300 of maintenance to the top 24 cyclists so will do something later this year

Nope, no plans from the Employer.
I am the only cycle commuter in my team... Depsite the fact that so many of the team are local and are only 5-10 mins drive from work...

Haa haa,
I know that feeling. I live 20 miles from work and commute in on my bike, the rest of my colleagues could walk to work and all drive. Nothing happening for cycle to work week here either, but that to be expected.

Here we have a national three month cycle to work campaign and, this year my employer went nuts. Usually, they do nothing.

There have been raffle prizes at the end of each week for those that cycled in. The prizes being lights, bottles, gloves, that sort of thing. At the end of the three months a draw is made for a £1500 bike! Now that is what i call music doing something.
