Stick it in the fridge to firm it up a bit.

Tried that, it doesn't work I tried it before and after the big V still nothing. Me and malt loaf - permanently soft.

I must admit I'm not too fussed about how it cuts, by the time its been in the back pocket of my cycling jersey for a while its squidgy anyway.

Butter on it! Yuck!! I know they sell the pre sliced bits with it on but it is still yuck.

Cutting - just go for a slice about an inch thick and it is fine.
