Warmed (not too hot) in the microwave.
In my camping days, heated carefully in a frying pan.
I can't abide cold croissants. Italian cornetti, yes, but then they're usually filled with something.
I have always warmed them in the oven.
I no longer have an oven.
I have an air frier but wasn't happy with the result ie hot on the outside but cold on the inside.
I have just bought some more and thinking of trying them cold.
Any thoughts ?

Warmed up then sliced* and thin slivers of Butter(salted) inserted
*Very sharp serrated knife.
Ideally, bought from the boulangerie and taken to the nearby bar to eat with your morning coffee.
