Afghanistan making an unexpectedly high score here. Having had them at 190/6 to let them within touching distance of 300 is pretty poor. I've only just switched on so not really sure what's happened but I'm guessing poor bowling and good batting. Topley has been really expensive!

There's been a fair bit of chat on TMS about this World Cup needing a close game to liven things up. I'm not sure this was what they had in mind!

They seem to have started rebuil, scratch that Buttler's just gone.

Problem we have here is that both Livingston and Brook like to have a swing at it. In an ideal world we've one of those two with Root at the other end. Sadly that's not the case so one of them needs to keep the head.
